Can I Buy Beef Broth Aldi
[clickToTweet tweet="Here's what you need to pick up at @Aldi this week! #Grocerystorefinds #aldi" quote="Oh Aldi, you have my heart. "]Oh Aldi finds, you have my heart. I have a crush on Aldi. I really heart them as you may have seen on my Facebook and Instagram accounts.
And because it rained and we can't be in the field, I had the rare opportunity to grocery shop by myself last night. I like that so much let me say it again. By Myself. Me myself and I. Solo. Just me. Ahhhhhhhhh.
As any parent knows, grocery shopping alone is gift. In fact, the only thing that might be better is a trip to Target by yourself! You parent's know what I'm talking about…am I right?
Anyway, not only was I shopping out with two, three or four kids in tow, I was shopping the store bymyself. Just me and the Aldi employees hanging out at 8:15 on a Wednesday night. Honestly, it was a little creepy to be shopping in the store. There are all the employees, sweeping the floors and closing up shop, and I'm in the middle with my gigantic shopping cart. I had to ask if the store was closed, but they said they're open until 9.
I guess I was the only one not at home watching the World Series Game. Congrats, Astros.
I'm a real carpe diem kinda girl, so I scoured the aisles and found some goodies for you. As we know, Aldi finds don't last forever so if you want some of these, get out there and get shopping!
Here are my Aldi Finds for this week!
Organic Bone Broth. Yep, you heard me right – bone broth instead of broth broth. The stuff I just paid $8.99 for at a speciality store was $2.49 at Aldi in both beef and chicken. I picked up several. Okay 10. Because even though I love making it from scratch, I'm also a realist. An sometimes I don't have the energy OR patience to make mine own. This is like a free pass in the meal department. You're welcome.
Roasting pans – Stock up now for the holidays! These a good quality, heavier duty than I've seen some other places. Take a tip from me and if you're planning to cut the turkey while in the pan double them up. That is, unless you like slow leaks. Just saying…
I can speak firsthand from my farmers and say they love this Harvest Blend Aldi find. You don't even have to take it out of the bag to make it. Healthy AND tasty! #WINNING
These pepper jams are a steal and you need these for your holiday season. Set out some low fat cream cheese, spoon some of this jam on top and serve with crackers. Your guests (and you) will be so happy you did!
Other yummy things…
Baking spices are on sale and abundant! Think pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, allspice and more. I also saw almond extract (one of my favorite childhood smells) and lemon extract.
These were by the holiday baking goods. Yes, Christmas candy is in full display! I'm guessing you can use them in baking, but we like to use these to make a good Manhattan. Waaaaay better than the old maraschino cherries.
Medjool Dates cost a ton in the regular grocery store. I forgot to grab the price as part of my Aldi finds, but they were no where near the price point I've seen elsewhere.
Oh, and here's the dark horse in the bunch…
Aldi has gone upscale with a taste of Hawaii. They offer Salmon Poke (pronounced poh-kay as indicated) bowls. It's like Aldi and Whole Foods collided. I'm kind of speechless. If you try one, give me the 411 on these, would you?
Meal Kits for 2! Uh oh Blue Apron and Hello Fresh. You've got some competition! If you try these let me know what you think! They're in the meat section and there were several others varieties.
Spice blends for Turkey Day were in the front of my store by the checkout. They had poultry seasoning, thyme, rosemary and some other blends you may want to grab for your holiday meal planning!
Cauliflower Rice was in the stand alone freezer case. I love using this as part of my Whole30 meals and this is the first time I've seen it in the freezer case. Every now and then it's in the refrigerated section but this is a new one. LOVE IT!!
Alrighty, last one and it's kind of random but this salad dressing is pretty darn good and I've only seen the gigantic bottles they have at Costco. These taste great on an Italian or Mediterranean salad. Pick 2 up, just in case they don't come back!
There you have it friends! My Aldi finds. I hope you "find" them helpful.
Oh, and it's my birthday today, so I'd also like to give a shout out to some pretty awesome and important people who made me. Thanks Mom and Dad for bringing me into the world!!! Love you!!!
Made with love,
